An Event Beyond Expectations
When we first started envisioning this event, we never anticipated such a wide turnout.
On September 20, 2024, in Bolzano, more than one hundred people gathered thanks to the sponsorship of The Garden of Peace.
They came from different regions of Italy, as well as from Austria, Spain, and Paraguay.
The initial idea was simple: to create a space to listen to and share stories of concrete commitment.
It became much more than that.

During the event, we heard from three organizations working in very different contexts, yet driven by the same spirit.
Amici del Malawi spoke to us about their daily work in Africa, building hospitals, wells, and schools.
Emergency shared their experience in war zones, where care is offered to everyone without distinction.
Medici dell’Alto Adige per il Mondo told us about the quiet dedication of those who bring medical assistance to places lacking resources and attention.

A Message That Lives On
What Unites Us Goes Beyond a Single Day: It Is the Will to Build Bridges
What stayed with me most from this experience is the feeling that something was born.
It may not be immediately visible, but it can be felt.
It is the awareness that even a small event can spark new connections, genuine friendships, and shared aspirations.
The Garden of Peace simply provided a space, but the true value was created by those who chose to be there, to share their stories, and to listen.
And in the end, this is already a way of building peace.
