Land of welcome and democracy
The land of Filiatra, a picturesque provincial town in Messenia, Greece – situated close to Mount Egaleo and cooled by the breeze of the Ionian sea – whose exceptional quality of soil interacts with the unique microclimate. The area of Filiatra can be called a natural olive tree forest because olive groves, hills, mountains and forests live in harmony. Filiatra, is now part of this golden thread that unites countries with a message of peace and tolerance by joining the ‘Garden of Peace’ project and receiving the 21 varieties of olive trees from the association in the same way as the garden in Italy and Spain.
The garden will be will be launched in the Autumn of 2023.
